ATLANTA, GA – September 27, 2011 – Ebix, Inc. (NASDAQ:EBIX), a leading international supplier of On-Demand software and E-commerce services to the insurance industry, today announced the addition of Steven N. Barlow as its Vice President of Investor Relations.
The Company announced that it made the decision to create this new position, to streamline its Investor Relations effort as also have a transparent investor outreach effort to accompany the Company’s revenue, cash and earnings growth story. In this role, Steve will actively communicate Ebix’s strategy and goals to shareholders and potential investors.
Steve has over 30 years of financial experience. He was most recently an Investor Relations Consultant and a regular contributor to thestreet.com. Steve brings to EBIX 14 years of experience as a sell side analyst at Prudential Equity Group, Credit Suisse and Smith Barney (Citibank). Institutional Investor Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Starmine have recognized his work for his analysis and stock selection skills
Prior to his sell side career, Steve held positions at Citibank in the Media Group, as the Assistant Treasurer of Columbia Pictures and Nabisco Brands. Steve earned his MBA at NYU’s Stern School of Business and is BA at St. Lawrence University in Canton NY.
