(NASDAQ:EBIX), a leading international supplier of On-Demand software and E-commerce services to the insurance industry, today announced the addition of seven new key senior Executives to its Exchange, BPO and Investor Relation Groups in the United States.
Five of the senior Executive namely Warren Brinker, Tom Chelston, David Greiff, Ellen Milantoni and Larry Panetta will be leading key new sales functions. The Company also announced the hiring of Ashley Franco in a senior Exchange technology position along with the hiring of a senior Executive for a newly created Vice President – Investor Relations position. To meet its goal of bringing best in class CRM technology to the Financial and Insurance industries, Ebix announced today that it has hired Warren Brinker to be its new Vice President - Global CRM Sales. With over 20 years of sales management experience, Brinker has held senior roles with Southern Equities LLC, Correctnet Inc., The Bank of New York, Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and SunGard. Brinker has a wealth of knowledge selling and managing CRM and data warehousing technologies and tools. Brinker will build out and lead a team of sales professionals responsible for establishing and sustaining long-term relationships with Financial and Insurance manufacturers and suppliers. In this newly created role, Brinker’s team will focus on the Life, Health, Property Casualty Insurance carriers as well as Banks, Broker Dealers and Hedge Fund providers. In this new role, Warren will report to Michael Sladek who has been promoted to the position of SVP – Exchange Sales.
The Company also announced the hiring of Tom Chelston as Vice President of Sales - Health Solutions to lead its sales efforts in the Health Content Exchange arena. In this new role, Tom will report to Jim Retel, who has been promoted as the Head of the Health Content Exchange Division. With over two decades of sales management experience, Tom brings a wealth of Health insurance knowledge to Ebix. Before joining Ebix, Tom served as the Vice President –Sales for Krames Staywell, a division of MediMedia USA for five years.
With the goal of providing end-to-end Health solutions to all entities including Employers, Brokers, TPAs and Carriers, Ebix also announced the hiring of David Greiff as its Vice President of Sales – Health Solutions. In this position, David will utilize his 13 years of sales management experience to sell Ebix’s portfolio of Enterprise exchange solutions for the Health industry. Having spent the last 9 years in the Health industry, David brings to Ebix his expertise of dealing with Healthcare companies and clients ranging from State Health departments to National Health plans, assisted living facilities, major retailers, and Fortune 500 firms.
As Vice Present – Health Exchange Solutions (Government), Ellen Milantoni will lead the Company’s Health exchange sales efforts with a primary focus on the Government sector. With a career spanning over 27 years in the software industry, Mary has held sales management positions with companies like IBM, Borland and Microsoft. Her varied marketing, product management, technology and business development experience coupled with her understanding of the Financial services & Health payer industries will allow her to lead Ebix’s efforts to deploy its Health Exchange custom solutions for the State Governments.
The Company also announced the hiring of Larry Panetta as Vice President of Sales, Ebix BPO to lead its sales efforts in the BPO sector including the niche areas of insurance certificate creation and certificate tracking. With a career spanning more than two decades across companies like Oracle, Siebel, SAP & JD Edwards, Larry brings a blend of sales, product development, and implementation experience across many industry verticals including the Financial and insurance industries. In this position, he will report directly to the Ebix CEO Robin Raina.
With a career spanning fourteen years of leadership experience within the Information Technology field concentrating on directing software development, solutions strategy, delivery and execution with specialization in the Insurance industry, Ashley Franco takes over as the new Vice President of Technology – EbixExchange. Before joining Ebix, Ashley was the Vice President of Global IT for Marsh & McLennan companies with responsibilities including overall IT strategy & business alignment, solutions delivery, operations, vendor management, and staffing.
